- 4 large eggs
- 1 c sugar
- 1 c brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 c self-rising flour
- 2 c chopped pecans
1In a large bowl add eggs and beat them.
2Add sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla. Mix well.
3Then add the flour and mix well.
4Fold in the nuts and stir.
5Pour into a greased 9×13 pan (I use a metal pan).
6Bake for 35 minutes at 350 F.
7The center of the cake will be kind of soft. Let cool completely before cutting into squares. Makes 24 – 28 squares depending on how big the squares are cut.
